Established since 2006, the Ação Cultural Program is a mechanism for supporting the cultural sector, whose objectives are focused on supporting and sponsoring the renovation, exchange, dissemination and the artistic and cultural production in the state; and support research and cultural education projects, as well as cultural diversity.
The Cidade Invertida project was awarded 1st place in the category of Visual Arts, receiving a monetary scholarship to exercise during the year in carrying out educational action in photography for children, youth, educators and community workers from nongovernmental organizations.
The Cidade Invertida trailer held workshops at Associação Arco (Chácara Florida), Casa dos Curumins (Pedreira), Associação Ninho (Colônia Paulista), Centro Recreativo Jd. Macedônia, Sociedade Figueira Grande, Associação Fala Negão (Itaquera), Coojab (Guainazes) and Centro Comunitário of Vila São José.
At the end of the project embraced 80 teachers and more than 200 children and teenagers.
